The design development and preparation of contract drawings and specifications for the construction of two ventilation towers to improve passenger comfort within the below grade PATH train platform. The shafts were designed to exhaust air from beneath the train platform up through the above grade vent towers which were located adjacent to the existing historic New Jersey Train Shed building. The design of the towers were reviewed and approved by the State Historical Preservation organization and New Jersey Transit. |
